Become an Art Collector with The Wall Market

Investing in art is not possible for most of us. It’s an exclusive pastime; one that requires a good deal of money, as well as access to galleries and dealers. If the rest of us want to see art, we’d better head to the museums.

Not that there’s anything wrong with museums, but The Wall Market thinks that art ownership shouldn’t be out of reach for anyone.

Founded in 2017 by friends Panya Belton and Botan Christensen, The Wall Market partners with photographers to give them a platform for their work and help them sell. Rather than producing 10 prints of a photo, they produce 1000, thereby reducing cost and opening access to owning these limited edition prints.

The photos either come framed or on Dibond (composite aluminium sheeting with a polyethelene core) and start at only 400 DKK including frame. Sizes run from A4 to 120 x 180 cm, so you can add something small to your apartment or fill up a whole wall.

We love the dual purpose of The Wall Market: to bring art to a wider audience, and to support emerging photographers. And with a selection from still life shots to architecture to portraits, there’s something to suit everyone’s tastes.
