Minimalist Packaging We Love: XELLENCE Skincare

My first experience with XELLENCE Skincare came at just the right time. As someone who suffers from eczema, specifically on my hands, I am always looking for the moisturiser that will turn it all around for me. That may be a pipe dream, but XELLENCE Skincare Visible Change SOS Power Cream is probably as close as I’ll get. I was having a particularly bad bout of dry, cracked, painful skin on my hands and wrists; after just a day of applying the SOS Power Cream, my hands looked and felt better. The skin began to heal; within a week the eczema was mostly gone. Obviously this cream didn’t cure my eczema – that’s with me for life – but it severely curtailed the discomfort and unsightliness that accompanies it. I now carry a tube in my bag and have one next to my bed.

The SOS Power Cream is as much of a first aid cream as it is regular skincare; it helps abrasions heal, restores your moisture barrier, and is antibacterial. You can even use it on cracked nipples after breastfeeding, or for tattoo after-care. That is a seriously hardworking cream.

In addition to their Visible Change line, XELLENCE also has a Harmony line, which is focused on daily skincare like body oil, lip moisture, and face creams. They’re all packed with organic, vegan ingredients that are perfume-free and work well for those with sensitive skin, are pregnant, or are allergic to synthetic products.

If you’re in the market for a natural antiperspirant that actually works, try their Dry Plus Antiperspirant. It is aluminium-free and actually controls body sweat and odor.

XELLENCE is all about using natural ingredients that are as functional as they are gentle. This is a brand you’ll go back to again and again, because the products simply work. In addition, the brand donates 10 DKK per purchase to rainforest preservation.
