Advice

So you want nice, inexpensive clothes in Denmark…

Okay, I’m sorry! It’s just that I’m laughing because you’re stupid. No, no, I’m sorry again. You’re not stupid. You’re just very, very young. And naive. It’s adorable! Youth. So full of hope.

Here’s a truth bomb: you cannot buy new, good quality clothes in Copenhagen at low prices. It’s just not going to happen. What IS going to happen is that you’re going to shift your understanding of what “low” and “high” prices actually are and start saying things like, “wow, this 400 kroner sheer white t-shirt is so cheap!”

And then I will laugh and laugh. Because, yeah, you live here now.

I like clothes but I also like saving money. Living in Copenhagen, I had to reconcile this without counting on my yearly visit to the US to replenish my closet. Therefore: ASOS.

ASOS is the Best Thing. So many people I’ve told about it here say some variation of, “oh yeah I’ve heard of that but I’ve never tried it.”

JUST TRY IT! Even though the company is based in the UK, shipping to Denmark is free. Free, you fools! Do you know how hard it is to find free shit in this country? It is fucking impossible. I’m sorry for swearing, I’m just so passionate about free stuff.

I cannot stress enough how much I love ASOS or all the wonderful things from there that I own. My favorite black leather ankle-boots. Cute dresses. A piece of funky jewelery here or there. Why the hell not? I head straight to their Outlet page and buy from there. Up to 70% off, kids.

Often you can get even bigger discounts with monthly promotional codes. For those, check this out. You can also follow @AsosPromoCodes on Twitter.

Do I actually need to write about this any more? Just: Go.

You’re welcome.
