Six Copenhagen Fashion Week Designers to Know for SS18

With an ever-growing roster of fantastic designers, Copenhagen Fashion Week continues to bring in both new and established talent. Spring/summer 2018 has a few newbies, a few classic brands that have made their way back home, and everything in between to scratch your Scandi-style itch.

These are the Copenhagen Fashion Week designers we’re excited to see this season:

List Marker: Number 1Stine Goya

After a few seasons without a show, including a brief dalliance in Paris, Stine Goya is finally back at Copenhagen Fashion Week! We love her effortless color combinations, artistic prints and expert draping. Can’t wait to see this one.

List Marker: Number 2Julie Fagerholt Heartmade

With a couture look and ready-to-wear prices, Julie Fagerholt Heartmade is that most elusive of Danish brands: one that translates internationally. Incredible detailing, rich colors and textures, and timeless silhouettes make her collections much-lusted-after.

List Marker: Number 3Astrid Andersen

Andersen showed her womenswear collection for the first time last season to much acclaim. We love her basketball-meets-baseball-meets-avant garde-streetwear vibe.

List Marker: Number 4Cecilie Bahnsen

Her fantastic show last season put Bahnsen on the map for what’s new and exciting in Danish fashion. With a highly-textured, monochrome look, Bahnsen has a specific aesthetic that is timeless, modern, and wearable.

List Marker: Number 5Nicholas Nybro

Always fun, always unique and always pushing the envelope, Danish designer Nicholas Nybro has established himself as a creative force with just a few solid seasons under his belt. Be prepared for funky textures, odd color combinations and off-kilter silhouettes.

List Marker: Number 6Bitte Kai Rand

Bitte Kai Rand makes classic Danish fashion that is minimalist, chic and so easy to wear. The gentle draping of the silhouettes belies the attention to detail of silhouettes and textures. This is a brand full of wardrobe classics with a unique twist, and we want it all.
