Erpstaðir Creamery

Erpstaðir is located in Búðardalur, in the north-western part of Iceland. It is a family-run dairy farm that sells absolutely delicious homemade ice cream. They also sell a handful of other artisanal dairy products such as cheese, skyr, and white chocolate.

While you are enjoying the ice cream you can visit the animals; there is even window connecting the shop to the farm house.  Note: unfortunately there are no vegan options.

We recommend

Try whatever is seasonal; local flavors like dandelion honey and rhubarb will blow you away! And don’t forget to take a bag of skyr konfekt (candy) home with you.
