Copenhagen Architecture Festival (CAFx), now in its fifth year, creates an annual program that brings together film, installation, seminars, and workshops to explore the way that architecture shapes and reflects our lives. The theme for this year is “home, housing, and belonging.” The festival runs from 3 – 16 May this year.
The festival has expanded beyond Copenhagen to Aarhus, Aalborg, and Odense, making it a wonderful reflection of not only the architecture in the capital city, but all over Denmark. Though we’re focusing on Copenhagen here, we encourage you to take a look at the full program to see all locations.

A Tour of UN City
A Tour of UN CityTake a tour of the gorgeous and highly-sustianable UN City building right on the Nordhavn water, by Danish architecture firm 3XN. After the tour, there will be a talk regarding the UN sustainability goals and how architects around the world are working to meet these targets. There will be light refreshments. Remember to bring a photo ID, as you’ll have to go through security.

Inner Copenhagen’s Jewish HistoryLearn the history of Copenhagen’s Jewish population though this guided walking tour that focuses on the buildings that framed the daily life of the community.
