February in Copenhagen might not be the most charming month in the city, but at this point not even grey weather and drizzle can stop us from the stepping outside and taking advantage of all the events in Copenhagen. If the last months have taught us one thing, it’s that no Danish weather is too bad to go for a walk. As the Christmas decoration disappears from the streets and window sills, Copenhageners are settling into daily life and many crave some new activities. From workshops to tours and quiz nights to exhibitions, there are plenty of options to entertain yourself in the city. And with many events moving online, you can even attend if you decide to light up some candles and stay on the sofa.

Here are all the best Copenhagen events this month, including digital and outdoor activites:

Tuesday 2nd – Friday 5th February

Copenhagen Fashion Week AW21

Over the last seasons, Copenhagen Fashion Week has established itself as a darling of the international fashion scene. The autumn-winter 2021 edition will be the first season to be organized in collaboration with new strategic partner Zalando and due to COVID-19 also the first one to exclusively take place online. Unfortunately, both fashion fairs – CIFF and Revolver – are canceled entirely this season. Get your fix of sartorial inspiration and experience all shows as well as the talk program via the official website.

One Flew Over a Cuckoo’s Nest at Husets Biograf

Milos Forman’s !One Flew Over a Cuckoo’s Nest“ from 1975 is well known for its depiction of mental illness, which is as relevant today as as it was upon its release. This combined with Jack Nicholson’s performance makes this film a classic that has stood the test of time. It’s worth noting that its infamous scene showing eletro-convulsive therapy (ECT) has long-contributed to stigma around the therapy and is no longer an accurate depiction of ECT. Tickets cost 70 DKK and the café opens at 6 pm. There is distanced seating due to COVID-19 rules, so be there on time.
