Six Oslo Runway Designers to Know for SS18

Oslo Runway is back! This season runs from 22 – 24 August and includes ten on-schedule runway shows, events, talks and more. The Norwegian fashion scene has been elusive in the past. We’re thrilled that their fashion week is starting to gain traction and already has such a great line-up of local talent.

Here are the Oslo Runway fashion designers we’re excited to see this season:

List Marker: Number 1IBEN

Easy-to-wear and slightly androgynous, with pops of color; IBEN is sure to have your next wishlist piece. Their relaxed, chic silhouettes make them the perfect every day, work or play, brand.

List Marker: Number 2Fam Irvoll

With a pop-music sensibility and a free-hand feel to her patterns, Fam Irvoll has quickly become recognised as a designers who takes risks and has fun with her collections. Definitely not for minimalists, but for those inspired by color, humor and detailing.

List Marker: Number 3iiS Woodling

List Marker: Number 4Line of Oslo

FWSS is all about minimalism with a twist. It’s the unexpected detailing on each piece, as well as the high-quality of everything they do, that keeps them at the forefront of Norwegian fashion.

Combining simplicity and elegance, Veronica B Vallenes uses silks, wool knit and a neutral palette with pops of deep color (red, navy) in each collection for the ultimate in minimalist luxury. The pared down silhouettes make her clothes perfect for casual or office wear.
