Baking with the Copenhagen Cakes Cookbook

Cake eaters, listen up! We’re excited for the launch of the Copenhagen Cakes cookbook. We first met Cecilia, the baker & blogger behind the website-turned-book over a year ago and are so happy for her success.

Her new book is absolutely beautiful and officially launches on Thursday, 19 March. Shot in an enclosed garden amongst the old buildings of Christianshavn, we were lucky enough to catch some behind the scenes action as well as get a sneak peek of the book itself.

It’s in Danish but even if you’re not fluent yet, this book is worth it for the pictures alone, which are mouth-wateringly good. Cecilia’s caking-making abilities coupled with Sarah Coghill’s fabulous photography are just the right combination of dreamy and rustic. Just try not to crave cake after leafing through these pages. You can only imagine – watching the photoshoot was absolutely torture.

And if there’s anything better than a new, pretty book full of cakes, it’s a FREE pretty book full of cakes so: we’re giving away one book to a lucky reader! Just leave a comment with your favorite kind of cake and we’ll pick a winner on Monday, 23 March (open to those in Denmark only. Sorry!).

If you just have to have it now, you can buy it online here.
