If you’re in need of the best food delivery service in Copenhagen, look no further than Wolt app. Although there are a few services that offer takeaway and delivery options around the city, none of them have the huge selection and high quality of Wolt; they provide everything from delicious greasy burgers to Michelin star restaurants. All you have to do? Just eat!
Launched in Helsinki in 2014, the food delivery app now delivers to 20 cities from over 1400 restaurants, and that number continues to grow. The service is a simple one: order food directly from an app on your phone and pay via credit card. The food will then be picked up at the restaurant by a Wolt courier and brought to your location. The couriers are on bike and travel with large blue heated containers emblazoned with the Wolt logo.
In Tallinn, Wolt is currently experimenting with self-driving delivery robots, but this is not something that has been rolled out in other cities.
Any restaurant can apply to be part of the Wolt service, and because their goal is to cater to a diverse range of food desires, the selection is extremely wide and well-curated.
Wolt currently operates in Copenhagen, Helsinki, Stockholm, Trondheim, Prague, Budapest, Tallinn, Riga, Vilnius, Warsaw, and many others cities. You can see the full list here.
How to use the Wolt app:
Download the app to your iPhone or Android.
Once you’ve downloaded, you’ll be asked to register for an account. You can do this via Facebook or with an email. Registration takes approximately 2 minutes.
Browse their selection in your city! They have everything from fast food and desserts to fine dining from some of the best restaurants in the city.
