Any fashion week can feel a little exclusive, but Copenhagen Fashion Week does a great job of including the whole city in their biannual festival. This year, the usual talks have been consolidated into one longer day, hosted by Zalando Studios, that’s a must-do if you’re interested in the Scandinavian fashion scene. In addition, there are some exciting launches and openings happening.

Zalando Studios x Copenhagen Fashion Week
This one costs 50 DKK, but you get a lot of bang for your buck. Meet editors, bloggers and other people within the fashion industry as well as hear talks and see presentations. At the end of the day, you’ll get to see the Talent Scene runway show while enjoying a few cocktails and nibbles.

“Transit-Dimensional” Opening at VIU Eyewear
See the latest exhibition on the top floor gallery space at VIU Eyewear: photographs by Emma Matell-Hyllested. Her romantic, character-driven work is a must-see for fashion photography-lovers. There will be drinks, bites and good tunes spinning!

“Portrait of You” Phuc Van Dang x Curvy Copenhagen Pop-Up Opening
Internationally recognised artist and graphic designer Phuc Van Dang and new plus-size, high-quality and trend-focused clothing line Curvy Copenhagen have collaborated on a fusion of art and fashion called “Portrait of You.” Celebrate their launch, or visit the pop-up through Saturday 12th August. Dang has decorated the location in his trademark style and it’s sure to be a treat for fashion and art lovers alike!

Art Walk with Frederik Letz Andersen
This one isn’t free, but tickets are only 50 DKK! Andersen, the Senior Fashion Director at Eurowoman & Euroman, gives a tour of two of his favorite galleries in Kødbyen: V1 and Eighteen, including their cellar archives. Find out how he references art in his daily work and what inspires him.
